Mortgage Rates March 24, 2009 – “Because it’s a Poorly Posed Question”

Mortgage Rates March 24, 2009 – “Because it’s a Poorly Posed Question”

Mortgage Rates remained unchanged today, even after a mid afternoon pullback in the FNMA 30 YR 4.5% which saw the MBS touch a low of 101.5625. REAL TIME MORTGAGE RATES!

Today we saw the AIG Hearing commence with the House Financial Services Committee question Fed Chairman Bernanke, Treasury Secretary Geithner and Fed Bank of NY President Dudley about the actions they have taken to rescue AIG from collapse.  The best moment comes roughly at the 8 min mark (see video) when Bernanke responds to the grandstanding gibberish with the quotable of the month “Because it’s a Poorly Posed Question”.
